- Discussion about the data gathered from EAA and IAAF. A couple of spreadsheets with the calendar for 2018.
- We need to access the taxonomy they are using to classify the calendar (i.e., permit meetings, national championships, etc.)
- There is an OpenAth space to left the already existing data in JSON.
- Andy: we can provide a tool to input information about competitions in a crowdsourced way.
- UUID to identify competitions -> extract a slug composed of an underscore ‘_’ + the first 5 characters. This could be changed by users
- Linked to venues could be done automatically, but perhaps too effort.
- Martin: For this first example, it’s better having only some geo coordinates
- Andy: If anyone could draw a nice map to filter calendar competitions, this would be a killer application.
- Johannes: I’ll be open to look at this opportunity of mapping venues more closely. It’s what we will do.
- We will continue with examples, JSON + converter to JSON-LD
