Input & Output
The Input / Output panel of NeuroMorphoVis allows users to import a morphology skeleton and set the output path where the different artifacts - such as analysis files, images, meshes, repaired morphology skeletons and even performance statistics - will be generated.
This panel is as displayed in the GUI is shown below.
The current version of NeuroMorphoVis can read morphologies stored in the following file formats:

The standard SWC file format.

H5 file format. This format is specific to the Blue Brain Project (BPP) and Human Brain Project (HBP), but the python bindings of HDF5 library must be installed to the system to load it.
We are currently extending NeuroMorphoVis to add support to read standrd Neurolucida ASCII morphologies that are directly generated from microscopic reconstruction software solutions.
Once a morphology is loaded for a given input file, the output path is set by default to the following path under your home directory $HOME/neuromorphovis-output
