Launcher Screen

Launcher screen is a 1x1x1 block used to configure settings and fire missiles. More than one screen can be added to a launch network. With each screen maintain it's own settings. Allowing for a single network to handle multiple different interactions.

Detonation Height

As of 4.3.X this is the distance from the target to ignite the explosive. In theory if the missile is coming strait down the value can be thought of as height(Y axis). Shorter ranges this will be arc distance from target.

Calculation works by running x-z plane flat distance to target. Then a distance check to target if flat distance is close enough. This does mean larger values will result in unexpected behavior if thought as perfect arc or height distance.

To better handle arcing set the lock height rather high. This will force the missile to move up and then back down. Making it so the detonation height is more likely to trigger.

History

  • v5.x.x - Screens were reworked to act as controllers for launcher networks. No longer having tiering or required to be placed next to the launcher pad.
