From version 2.0.1.2 onward Techguns has an in-game manual that was made with the help of the patchouli library mod. For the manual to work you need patchouli installed. (https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/patchouli)
Getting the in-game manual is strongly recommended for information about the complex stuff of the mod.
