• News from the team
  • John is taking the Egeria Conformance Program proposal to the ODPi board.
  • Mandy to ask Madhan about messaging around Apache Atlas and its Egeria Conformance.
  • New posh url for egeria is https://egeria.odpi.org/.
  • Please review new tutorials under open-metadata-resources.
• Discussions about the needs of the Enterprise Architects.
  • Maarten took us through the needs of the Enterprise Architect.
    • Archimate is a standard for Enterprise architecture and should be the vocabulary for a new OMAS for Enterprise architecture.
    • Much of the base information about systems and applications would come from the CMDB
    • The CMDB could interface with Egeria as a repository connector or through the Data Infrastructure OMAS.
    • The Data Infrastructure OMAS (maybe should be called IT Infrastructure OMAS?) should use the ITIL vocabulary.
    • Need to set up a small workgroup to map ITIL and Archimate to the open metadata types so the open metadata types can act as a translator.
