Decompression

Simone Maurizio La Cava edited this page May 25, 2020 · 1 revision

Athena allows you to decompress (unzip) your files, whether they are related to datasets, or that they related to individual files.

You can manage .zip, .tar, .tgz, .gz and .tar.gz files.

File decompression

Here, you can decompress a compressed file which contains a single file, such as a signal.

The decompressed file will be contained inside the directory which contains the compressed one.

Folder decompression

Here, you can decompress a compressed file which contains a folder, such as a dataset.

The decompressed folder will be contained inside the directory which contains the compressed file, and it will have the same name.

Note that these processes can be long and last even more than a few minutes, particularly in the second case.

As for every interface, if you need help, you can push on the logo figure, which will open this page in a web browser.
