Skill Groups
With the release of Twodsix v4.16, Traveller sheets may now organizes skills into categories for easier organizations. These categories have no functional mechanism other than display (e.g. can't be used as a skill or roll modifier). Here is a simple example.
In the above image, skills are organized into two, user defined categories: Social and Technical. The default categories (designated by the system) are used for when there is no skill group specified or when the skill is the special Untrained skill.
- Enable skill grouping in settings. Under Twodsix Settings -> Display Settings -> Actor there is a new setting to organize skills by group:
It is off by default.
- Enter a label for each skill on the Traveller sheet. There is a new field on each skill description call "Group Label". This field is a freeform string field where the user can enter any group label they want. The system will automatically group by labels that match exactly. Int the example below, the group label is "Technical". Note that there are no predefined labels. Each traveller may have their own unique grouping. If no label is entered, the skill is placed in the "No Group" group.
