- Continue discussion on WG products from Call 2021-07.
- Continue discussion regarding Travis (#484) from Call 2021-06.
- Continue discussion on single-cell representation (#409). Comments since the last call start here.
- JSON vs. YAML: We are using both formats for similar tasks. Can we formalize our expectations whether one or both MUST/SHOULD/MAY (NOT) be provided or accepted by tools?
- A growing number of tools is "AIRR compliant". Is this only support
for
Rearrangement
or also forRepertoire
? - Current status of the discussion on
Germline
/Genotype
representation in the Schema (#530).

- Present: Brian, Chaim, Christian, Felix, Francisco, Jason, Katharina, Kenneth, Kira, Scott
- Regrets: Artur
- Terms for WG products: Now created a Terminology GDoc to collect ideas and feedback on terms that should be subject to usage guide- lines for AIRR-C-approved documents. Please comment until the next call. Also please have a look at the following other resource for Glossaries and terms:
- We will attempt to reduce the runtime of Travis CI test first, then test GitHub Actions if that is insufficient. Will follow-up with Artur regarding alternative compute resources next time. On a related note, also Docker Hub stopped to perform autobuilds of containers for free accounts (the pricing is more modest, though). This will likely not affect the WG directly, but potentially some of its members/associated projects.
- Discussion on single-cell representation (#409):
- We can use sample_processessing_id for the library identifier.
- We are good to proceed to experimental schema definition with these rules.
- Discussion of CellPropertyVector.
- Discussion of whether YAML or JSON should be the default for Repertoire and other non-TSV schema. To be continued...
- Did not discuss the last two points on the agenda, pushed to next call.
- September meeting we be moved off-cycle, 1 week later, to accommodate the US labor day holiday. This will not affect the following calls, so the next-but-one will be on Mon, 2021-10-04 as scheduled.
