What's Changed

  • Reflection probes now properly utilize rotation and will respect placement once in-game
  • Depth maps in reflections has been locked at maximum, preventing 'weird sheen' effect
  • Fixed rename field keeping old value when the popup re-opened

  • Renamed Sky Mask to Window Mask
    • IMPORTANT: When rendering your probes, any windows need to be in a mesh with 'window' in the name.
    • This mesh should ONLY contain the window panes - no surrounding support structures. Other meshes should not have 'window' in the name.

What's Changed

  • First draft of deferred probe functionality
    • IMPORTANT: First draft! Rotation might not work as intended - unclear how this is actually handled in-game. Recommend leaving your probes at default rotation for now.
  • Ability to change project folder to be in a different location
  • Rename probes and volumes
  • Blur now has a strength and size setting and can be adjusted in real time after baking
  • Deselect selected volumes when you press Escape
  • Texconv and texassemble are automatically downloaded and no longer need to be manually located

  • Added bounced lighting
    • Avoids sharp darkness, makes sure light gets everywhere
  • Added a post-bake blur pass
    • In practice this means you now need a lot fewer samples for a good bake.
