Lake Gallery Content Management

The Texas Lake Gallery application permits users to navigate the various lakes around the state and view the 'story' of each lake. The content of each lake story is derived from numerous tables within an Amazon RDS Postgres database. The tables used to edit and manage the content for each story include the narrative Story Content, Lake Statistics, Significant Events, and Historical Aerial Links.

With the proper credentials, the content tables can be accessed and managed by visting:

lake-gallery.tnris.org/admin

After logging in, each table can be edited by selecting it from under the 'Database Tables' -> 'Map' sub-header. Editing within the admin console is a direct connection to the database which the production application is reading. Therefore, any edits or changes of any kind to the tables within this console will have an immediate and direct effect to the production application. Proceed with caution.
