Recommended Plugins
One of the most important plugins for customization. With this plugin you can install custom XMB themes made by the community.
It can only be installed on the XMB, it doesn't work on Custom Launcher (which uses its own separate themes).
This plugin should be enabled for VSH (aka XMB) mode ONLY.
Allows direct reading and loading of DLC (EDATA/PGD/SPRX) files in either their encrypted or decrypted form, so you don't need to reactivate your account and/or switch between them while using your purchased DLC from different regions. You can mix decrypted/encrypted files without problem too, the plugin takes care of that.
This plugin should be enabled for both VSH (aka XMB) and GAME mode ONLY.
Now you can place your DLC folders in a custom location.
This does not handle encrypted DLC, you can use Nploader mod with this for encrypted DLC

This is a simple tool to create a scanline effect for PSP games and homebrew, giving it a retro arcade game aesthetic.

Prxshot is a screenshot plugin that doesn't need to pause the game to take the capture (useful for online gaming) and classifies the images by games using their names and icons.

TempAR is a complete rewrite of the popular PSP cheat device NitePR/MKULTRA, with additional features and improvements created by raing3.
This plugin should be enabled for either GAME or POPS (aka PS1) mode ONLY.
ISO Change is a plugin that is able to switch between emulated UMDs and ISO image files. It can be used for games utilizing multiple UMDs, without changing discs.

FuSa SD is a plugin that allows you to play PSP games on any TV over any cables, all works at a full-screen aspect ratio.

Allows running various 1.50 homebrew (both user and kernel) directly from the XMB (or Launcher). Compatibility is not 100% but pretty close.
Install it as a homebrew plugin. Works as a game plugin too but its only real usage is with homebrew.

Different PSP Firmware versions had different compatibility with PS1 games. Popsloader was created so you can load older versions of the PS1 emulator, which is necessary for some games to load or work properly.

Most important plugin for developers. PSPLink makes debugging of your plugins and homebrews much easier.
Can be enabled everywhere. On PS1 games it is required to have flash0:/kd/usb.prx installed as a plugin (i.e. ps1, flash0:/kd/usb.prx on) before PSPLink itself.
This plugin can be enabled for ALWAYS or any other runlevel.
A must have plugin for every fan of GTA on the PSP console. Allows for cheats as well as mods.
There exists a classic and a remastered version, we recommend the remastered version as it is more stable, has less bugs and new interesting cheats. You can install both but you can only have one enabled at a time.
It is recommended to enable these plugins only on the specific GTA games where you'll be loading them using ARK's per-game plugins configuration.
If you have cwcheat also installed and enabled, it is recommended to have it disabled for the specific GTA games that you'll be using with cheat device, you can use ARK's per-game plugins configuration.

An important plugin these days of high capacity memory sticks that fit hundreds of games, way more than the PSP was supposed to handle with its limited memory. CGLite lets you organize your games in subfolders where you can more easily find them and have the XMB load them faster.
This is an XMB only plugin, it does not apply to Custom Launcher.

An important plugin that brings back Online functionality to the PSP on many games.
This plugin requires enabling the "Force Extra RAM" setting and cannot be used on 1K models.
On ARK (and ARK only) this plugin is compatible with the "Inferno Cache" setting.
