EA Play / GamePass games are not imported

Currently only import of owned games is supported. EA Play games have to be imported manually.

Games bought via Epic don't start properly

This is an issue in Epic launcher. It takes a while for Epic launcher to recognize that you own those games after starting it (you can actually see them show as unavailable sometimes in Epic's library view), so doing cold startup will usually fail because of it. Nothing we can do about it.

The other potential issue is that you are running wrong "version" of the game. Origin integration will currently import all versions of the game available on your account, including EA Play version, trials and others. So you need to make sure you are starting the correct "Epic" instance.

Play time not importing correctly

Can occur if a game is played via EA Play subscription. There is no fix for now. The workaround is to manually fix play time and disable forced time sync in Playnite's general settings.

Some games are imported multiple times

Can happen if a game have multiple variants like purchased, beta, trial, subscription version etc. We can't currently reliably detect these so just remove unwanted entries and add them to the import ignore list.
