• Utilized SANDAG model to test scenarios against current structure vs revised structure
• Started development of visualization tool to compare base vs build results across various components
• Illustrate changes between base and build scenarios' metrics
  • Created list of summaries to evaluate changes
  • Webpages generated from Jupyter notebooks by Quarto
    • Python implementation
    • Quarto compiles multiple notebooks into an HTML website
    • Both can include any images, so will have static maps

  • Joe - would have been nice to include Simwrapper; would like to find opportunities to continue to develop that tool
    • Suggest reaching out to Billy C to see if Simwrapper could be used; Joel will update Billy on this effort and get feedback
• Question about whether we should add in a highway scenario; Joel is asking for feedback on scenarios chosen
  • Wanted to choose scenarios with enough decision-maker changes to summarize and interpret results in a meaningful way
    • Reason why Land-use scenario is selected
    • Important to remember that scenario is meant to test approach; want to insert a shock that will only touch part of the model
