Visualization task progress

• Two primary options: SimWrapper and Plotly Dash
• SimWrapper
  • Pros: in-house expertise, yaml configuration, built for transportation, ready to go
  • Cons: small user base, JavaScript
• Plotly Dash
  • Pros: Large user base and Python, easy to configure interactivity
  • Cons: Need to build solution from ground-up, less configurable
• WSP recommends SimWrapper
• Showed Demo of SimWrapper for ActivitySim

  • Scenario comparison feature is important
  • Interested in linked brushing
  • Concern about MATSim updates breaking ActivitySim implementation and maintenance of MATSim vs ActivitySim SimWrapper forks
• Next steps: Get approval from Consortium to proceed with SimWrapper development. Questions or concerns should be raised sooner rather than later.
• Progress on data processing scripts will be shown in two weeks
