Attaching Notes

To attach a note, go to Visual Mode or Tabular Mode and select a group, leaf, or side. Then select "+" under notes. You will be presented with this form:

Enter the title of the note (required), then specify its type (optional) and description (optional). When you are done, select "Create & Attach Note".

You can also attach a note to multiple groups, leafs or sides at once. While selecting, hold down Shift (to select a whole range) or Ctrl (to select individual elements) and click on the elements that you wish to attach a note to. Then create the note as above.

Detaching Notes

To detach a note, go to Visual Mode or Tabular Mode and select a group, leaf, or side. Then click "x" on the note that you wish to detach.

You can also detach notes common to multiple groups, leafs or sides. While selecting, hold down Shift (to select a whole range) or Ctrl (to select individual elements) and click on the elements that you wish to detach a note from. Then click "x" on the note that you wish to detach.

Creating Standalone Notes

To create a new standalone note, select "Notes" from the side menu, switch to the "Manage Notes" tab and select "+ Create New Note". You will be presented with this form:

Enter the title (required), type (required) and description (optional), then select "Create" to complete.

Managing Note Types

You can use note types to specify different kinds of properties while creating notes (e.g. hands, inks, citations, etc.). To add a note type, select "Notes" from the side menu and switch to the "Edit Note Types" tab. You will be presented with this form:

Enter the note type's name, then select "Create" to complete.
