WIP: fix timing for resetCycles

Starting to work, but still needs to loop on queue read with accurately adjusted timeout, unless the action is resetCycles

This is nice and snappy:

mute 1

then

do resetCycles
   unmuteAll

However this isn't working well:

do once $ s "superpanic"
   resetCycles
   unmuteAll

The panic is delayed, happening after the cycle reset.
