Network Service Sharing

Even though one of the properties of the Network Slices is the isolation between them while being deployed over the same network, it cannot be forgotten that one of the objectives of SDN/NFV is to improve the network resource efficiency. In order to reach this point, a Network Service that takes part in multiple Network Slices could be shared among them so as to no have the same NS taking different resources when a single NS instance would be enough for all the network slices using it.

The following figure shows two different Network Slice Instances (NSIs), each one of them is based on a different NSTd but both of them have a common NS (marked in orange).
