This page documents how we at Sandstorm give credit and otherwise comply with the licenses of other open source projects when using them with the Sandstorm open source project.
-
If you are adding a new third-party code copy into the Sandstorm git repository, aka "vendoring something in," add it to LICENSE file. The purpose of this file is similar to the Debian copyright format though ours is not machine-readable yet.
-
If you are adding a new third-party dependency, either via a dependency declaration or by vendoring something in, add it to the the About Sandstorm page by modifying this template.
-
Make sure the license is compatible with Sandstorm's, which is Apache License 2.0.
If you have questions, ask sandstorm-dev!
