- GEOGLAM data and datacube-wms service have deployed to the EASI Hub k8s cluster for the Australia Region.
- AWS Well Architected review to be conducted next month
- Preparing for GEO Week industry track exhibition
- CEOS WGISS action on interoperability between Datacubes from ESA, NASA and CSIRO underway. Initial discussions end goal is to determine if achieving algorithm portability between the data cubes is appropriate. Also considering interoperability at data, API and services (OGC) levels since all three have a bearing on the type of interoperability and its scalability.
- Beginning full scale trial runs of data pipelines automation this month.
- LS8 SR/L1, MOD13Q1.006, S1 GRD/SLC Snap and S2 L1C/L2A run for ACT 2019
- LS8 SR/L1, MOD13Q1.006, S1 GRD/SLC Snap for Australia 2019

- Digital Earth Africa work continues with continental data preparation
- We're running through our Australian collection upgrade, which includes changes to metadata structure
- Alex attended FOSS4G in Bucharest and has commenced the ODC as an OSGeo process
- We renamed
dea-proto
toodc-tools
, which makes them more clearly reusable

- Provided data and expertise for Jono’s Geo Summit.
- Joined the ESIP working group to evangelize Pangeo Architectures.
- Participating in the USGS/Flagstaff Pangeo based machine learning hackathon.
- Completed the infrastructure setup for an EROS Jupyter 101 Lunch and Learn.
- Exploring opportunities with STAC for ease of use and ease of indexing.
- AMA
- AMA is currently making great progress on the ODC Sandbox solution. The team had a group telecon on 9/24/2019. (a priority for the Nov'19 GEO Meeting in Canberra).
- The AMA team is working on the ODC connection with GEE (Google hosted datasets). We expect this to be completed in the next two weeks (a priority for the Nov'19 GEO Meeting in Canberra).
- The entire dataset of Africa for ALOS is currently being indexed (a priority for the Nov'19 GEO Meeting in Canberra).
- Several updates were made in the DCAL Jupyter notebooks.
- A new notebook was created (in collaboration with several ARDC users) called the Crop Phenology Algorithm Notebook for Africa Regional Data Cube (ARDC).
- AMA will be releasing updates to the CEOS-SEO source code (Jupyter notebook, UI, documentation, etc.) on Sept. 30th on github.com/ceos-seo. This will then be pushed to the ODC repository.
- AMA supported several ARDC training sessions in the month of August/Sept. where we provided AWS EC2 instance management support (powerful ARDC demo server for the User Interface usage).
- AMA team will be presenting two papers related to ODC (machine learning & interoperability related) at the Pecora-21 conference in Baltimore in the second week of October.
- The updates/review of the ODC architecture doc has been delayed due to several high-priory tasks related to the Nov'19 GEO Meeting in Canberra. We expect to complete the ODC Architecture Documentation by the end of the first week of Oct'19.
