COC: The Social Media Standards
First, let's go into the core basics of MP Social Media that continues to be 100% managed by MicroProfilers since June 2016. Volunteers are tracked via the 360 MP Media Contributors Inventory by Tool document and visible to all.
-
MP Twitter TwitterDeck is still used to grant willing volunteer with Contributor Access: C
-
How? We use the Teams feature on TweetDeck
-
Twitter passwords are only shared with Admins and not used for day2day work
Admin access: A means Infra access - limited and rarely granted
- Adjusts the twitter description, design, etc. This is the only task & reason the password is used.
- Invites others to access the account as Admins or Contributors, if the request to be added as a new media volunteer is verified by passing the D4 questions + the MicroProfiler's actions are meritable to such access + ...
- Takes action on behalf of the account (Tweet & Retweet). See C.
Contributor Access: C means General access - most commonly granted
- Takes action on behalf of the team account
- Retweet & Tweets
- Push 1 time-only-message
- Create Pools
- Create lists & build collections
-
the amplification of global MP Twitter mentions @MicroProfileIO that in an effective manner, highlight the positive and valuable MicroProfiler activities. It covers all languages and regions.
-
The MicroProfiler behind the access ought to set the MP twitter notifications to “push notifications” via his personal Twitter access to track the activities via @ of the MP twitter.
Don't
Tweets don't focus on the Admin/Contributor “alone" activities with regards to MicroProfile
- There is no “I” on tweet messages
- @MicroProfileIO is never used to engage/reply nor answer as a group to any tweet. No exceptions.
- The A/C (Admin/Contributor) MicroProfilers owns what she/he says using his/her personal twitter account & never hides behind the MP handle.
- The A/C doesn’t send nor acknowledge private messages nor replies to private messages
- The A/C never blocks anyone, no matter the reason
- The A/C never follows
If you agree with the 4Ds, the layers of transparency and contributing accountability required to participate on MP Social Media Contributing via Twitter for example, then you could join the MP Communication efforts.
Via the MP forums emails, ask openly, no private exchanges nor private access
The subject of your email: I would like to be considered a MicroProfile Twitter Contributor
COPY/PASTE the 3 questions below & answer each via that email with a YES:
- Do you understand & accept the MP Twitter Code of Conduct, COC-D4s?
- Do you agree to be listed in the 360 MP Media Contributors Inventory by Tool: Your name?
- Do you agree to be removed ASAP from having access to Contribute to the MP twitter account? If it is proven that your Twitter actions failed, more than once, to comply with the COC Standards.
- A Contributor doesn’t need to be a member of the listed MPWG Members
- Your twitter handle must be public
Your YES to the D4 above means that as a C MicroProfiler, you accept to receive & own direct/open written- feedback via the forum/git issues. You accept to be accountable without “perfecting excuses” on the potential FAILURE to use the MP handle.
The MP Mktg repo issues [example 2] submissions are the responsibility of ALL MicroProfilers. Providing direct/open feedback on MP media pushes affects the project itself and reflects in the community. Example stated on MP Contributors' hangout Sept 3rd, 2019.
