Sharing is a virtue, and will only become more important as bandwidth increases. As 5g and later generations democratize bandwidth peer to peer communication is the future. Bitchute's use of Webtorrent for video hosting is the primary reason I have chosen to concentrate on getting [sic] to support it fully first. Since so much of Bitchute's initial users are people searching out content providers banned from YouTube, adding backwards compatibility to YouTube makes sense. Unlike NewPipe, an excellent open source YouTube client, [sic] only uses the RSS feed and embedded player options YouTube makes freely available, so there shouldn't be a reason to block it off the Play store. NewPipe and VLC are supported as external players for further functionality if needed.

Future planned additions will include friends, sharing, increased platform support, and actual security
