These set the output colors for data files printed in HTML mode.

See avida.cfg for these settings: COLOR_DIFF, COLOR_SAME, COLOR_NEG2, COLOR_NEG1, COLOR_POS1, COLOR_POS2, COLOR_MUT_POS, COLOR_MUT_NEUT, COLOR_MUT_NEG, and COLOR_MUT_LETHAL.
