We explained the concept, the pitch-comics, and the intended flow. Also explained the little bits of design we have so far. (E.g. perspective on execute step, pile in brainstorm step.)

She said she'd be interested in using it herself. And that she'd be interested in being a guinea pig.

Feedback included

  • More words in the comics, for pitch-value and sharability.
  • Give consideration to deadline-sensitive tasks and measuring how long things take.
    • Some things have inverse dependencies: "can't do it after X".
  • Maybe also worth tying to "remind me to evaluate this, on this date".
  • Make wireframes of the process for a user going through and using the product.
  • Make user stories that you can follow end to end through the experience of using the product.
  • She reminded us that a lot of our emphasis is on small-business and enterprise features, but that our marketing plan doesn't include them yet. We need to resolve that contradiction one way or the other.
  • She suggests using real-world examples in the comics, with icons and labels for task categories.
  • She mentioned Sunrise Calendar and its use of symbols per-topic; this may be even more useful for our case, with categories having color and shape (icon) visual distinction.
