This is a default set of entities used for dynamic page layouts & structures. Included types are:

  • Accordion
  • CTA
  • Downloads
  • Embed
  • Gallery
  • Image
  • Linked logos
  • Quote
  • Text
  • Video

Notes

  • These should be accessed via the included custom field field_content
  • When creating entities don’t use the machine names ‘cast’, 'content' and any other Drupal specific terms because it will cause conflicts and break the site

Blocks

Syd also comes with 3 custom block types:

  • Emergency message
    • This is a single use block type for creating sitewide announcements
  • General
    • General purpose text block for adding header/footer etc copy
  • Partners
    • Generally all sites contain a sponsors/partners region in the footer, this block allows placement of the Linked logos entity
