Main Activity

The main activity (the first screen the user sees after the splash screen) is a list of previews of the entries he/she has made. The majority of each preview is the picture. The previews also have a custom label the user creates and a time stamp corresponding to when the entry was made.

New Entry Activity

The new entry activity is (you guessed it) where the user adds a new entry. Additional fields here are possible--perhaps a field that has to do with perspective? The time stamp is created once the entry is saved and is permanent.

Entry Details Activity

This basically repeats what the user entered in the new entry activity. The edit option should mainly be for fixing mistakes or adding some extra info, so it would not update the time stamp. A delete button could be added here or be available in the edit activity.

This first screen is pretty self explanatory. we will need a simple log-in screen to make use of accounts to associate with users and their photos.

This is the home screen where users have access to a menu in the upper left corner allowing them to view things like "My Pictures" to view an organized spread of previous pictures, "Reminders/Alerts" to create personal reminders to use the app or alerts when it hasn't been used in a while (people can only go so long without eating), "My Account" to update settings or log out, and perhaps some sort of "Diet Info" where recommended portion sizes or other tips can be found. The majority of the screen shows a scrollable list of the most recent photos taken and can help users keep track of when they've used the app and perhaps jog their memory had they missed a snack in between photos.

This is the photo-taking screen where users are asked to take just 3 pictures of their meal. The 3 angles are designed to give a better estimate of the size of the meal. Also a simple "details" text box will be the last portion to fill out where users may type any additional information regarding what they are eating.

Main Screen:

Typical login screen with the possibility of adding a "Remember Me" option. The "Reminders" section could be used for notes/reminders/information from the dietitian for the patient. "News Feed" might be a more fitting name for this section.

Menu Screen:

The "Settings" button will display a gear icon rather than the text. Contents of these settings are TBD. "Ask A Question" feature could be used for patients to send a question for their dietitian (may not use this feature). The "My Recipes" feature may also not be used but this could hold recipes that a user would like to keep saved...some recipes could come from "Recipe of the day" field or possibly a database of recipes if we chose to include it.

New Photo Screen:

This screen will let the user take a new picture of their food/meal. When the user opens this page, they will be prompted to center the picture and after they take the picture, they will be prompted asking if they would like to take more pictures such as a top-down view, side view, etc.

Photo Review Screen:

This screen will show the user a thumbnail of their picture(s) with their timestamp and a "Re-take" button at the top. Under the thumbnail, there will be a dropdown menu where the user can pick what type of food it was in terms of meal time (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, or a drink). The user will put a short description of the food along with any other comments to be submitted. Finally, the user can create tags for their food which could be helpful for the dietitian (may be removed). Once the user is finished reviewing their submission, they can click the "Next" button which could take them to an overall review of their submission where they can make changes/edits however this may be taken out and instead of the "Next" button, we will use a "Submit" button.

Login Screen:

Rough idea of a logo with a friendly "Welcome back!" message while logging in.

Main Screen:

Immediately after login, this is the screen you would see. Most of the screen would be filled with previous entries, with the left side for each entry being a top down picture of the food and the right side being the name of the food and details about it. The left side would have an option to click on and view the other perspectives of the food, like front and side views. This would be scrollable so you could see entries from a while back. This screen also includes a settings button and a new entry navigation button.

New Entry Screen:

Relatively simple design, the screen is just whatever your camera is looking at, like snapchat, along with a circular camera button on the bottom to take the picture. Includes messages telling you what perspective to take the picture from so it can sort it appropriately for you. Details would be added after all of the perspective pictures were taken.
