Lists are a way for organizations to maintain lists of users / companies in a way that all the data remains up to date.

One use case might be a journalist making a list of companies for an article. They can then have all of the company information be up to date over time, including URL, logo, and so on.

Another use case would be for membership. An association could manage a list of their member companies. They can then embed this on their website.

Lists can be used as a sync target (e.g. membership use case above controlled / updated by syncing membership list).

Lists are owned by users. Lists may have one or more curators who can edit list metadata and curate entries.

Lists are publicly viewable by default.

Lists generate an embed code to allow users to embed the list on their own site.

Curated Lists

Items with tags are dynamic. Lists are manually curated. Do the two interact at all? Or is a list like a special kind of "curated tag". I.e. Lists can be open or curated. For open, anyone can add themselves / their company to the list. For curated, people / companies ask to be added to the list. The List curator receives a notification and can approve or reject the person / company.
