National Water Model Operations

The operational National Water Model for CONUS operates in both a forecast mode and a retrospective mode (analysis and assimilation). Each of these modes have 3 configurations based on simulation duration, resulting in 6 unique configurations:
- Standard Analysis and Assimilation
- Extended Analysis and Assimilation
- Long Range Analysis and Assimilation
- Short Range Forecast
- Medium Range Forecast
- Long Range Forecast
- Operates from T-3 to T
- Streamflow nudging is ON
- Persistence DA is ON
- RFC DA is ON
