Precondition: user signed in with account A on main testing iOS 26 device and account B on secondary

1. Open staging.new.expensify.com

2. Navigate to chat with account B

3. Tap on the composer to open the virtual keyboard

4. Start typing on the secondary device where account B is logged in

5. Look at the typing indicator text below the composer.

6. Paste the following text into the composer to trigger the error message:

   [] Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Aenean commodo ligula eget dolor. Aenean ma (creating task message with more than 100 characters)

7. Verify that the typing indicator and error messages should be fully visible and not overlapped by the site header when the composer is focused and virtual keyboard is open

  • I verified proper file naming conventions were followed for any new files or renamed files. All non-platform specific files are named after what they export and are not named "index.js". All platform-specific files are named for the platform the code supports as outlined in the README.
  • I verified the JSDocs style guidelines (in STYLE.md) were followed
• If a new code pattern is added I verified it was agreed to be used by multiple Expensify engineers
• I followed the guidelines as stated in the Review Guidelines
• I tested other components that can be impacted by my changes (i.e. if the PR modifies a shared library or component like Avatar, I verified the components using Avatar are working as expected)
