Travis appears to have pegged bundler at 1.7.6 for ruby 1.9.3 and there are known issues with that combo - See travis-ci/travis-ci#5239
Hi @Erol, any objections?? |
@abrom I'm not sure if this (epic) repository is being maintained anymore. |
Hi @abrom, Can you release your version as a separate gem? Maybe bundled with the PR from other people. As @obahareth already said, I don't think this repo is sadly maintained any more. |
I'm happy to maintain the project if @Erol wants to hand it off. However I'd prefer to keep things as they are gem (name) wise etc. Easier to find for other devs.. less confusion.. I've contacted him about it, but if I don't hear anything back I'll look at the alternatives. In the mean time:
|
@abrom Are you alright with submitting pull requests to your version for now? |
Probably jumping the gun @obahareth. Still waiting to hear back from @Erol |
Alright @abrom, I grabbed some of the changes I need onto my version for now. Thanks. |
@obahareth I've forked this as https://github.com/abrom/henkei I've updated it to include Tika 1.14 and released it as a gem on rubygems |
I was getting some
NullPointerException
when reading some docx files using Tika 1.11. Tika 1.14 appears to have fixed those. Also modified travis config to update bundler because of known issue. See travis-ci/travis-ci#5239
