Can you please accept this pull request and generate a new apk? I can't use the wi-fi setup dialogue on my NSTG with firmware 1.2.1.

I see those settings but I don't know what they actually do. Wouldn't it need some sort of username and password? Or do you use dropsync for that? But then what? What does ReLaunch do with dropbox?

If it's too hard to deal with English, it's ok don't worry about it. I was curious, but it's not important.

Thank you again for providing a compiled apk. I appreciate it.

In the settings Dropbox specify which folder you want to use for
downloading and uploading. Then, in the advanced settings in the on-screen
buttons to specify what the button and tap on any cause Dropbox.

Hello haron2013,

It finally works as expected. Maybe you will be able to fix another irritating bug? :)

In Settings -> Advanced Settings -> General Settings there is a setting called "Format of title of the book". It allows formatting book title display, but unfortunately two parameters important for me have no effect. It's "%s - series title" "and %n - number in series". They, when used, simply shows nothing although this information is encoded in epub - other applications shows it properly. All other parameters (%a, %t, %f) works as expected. Is there any chance to fix it?

For information about the book in the library is used ReLaunch ebookparser -1.3
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/ebookparser/files/). As I understand it from
the source code of this library (looked in the file SOP.java) it is not
possible to obtain a series of numbers in the series for the format EPUB.
I'll see what can be done, but I can not promise anything.

Hello darzur,
As eBookParser developer i can say that, unfortunately the current version of the opf file format (http://www.idpf.org/epub/20/spec/OPF_2.0.1_draft.htm) does not provide either a series title or a book number in the seires.
The EPUB developers have said that these features will be added in version 2.1 or 3.0 - http://www.daisy.org/epub/?q=issues/adding-series-metadata

Well,

I now nothing about programming and development - I'm just normal user. What I can say is that most eReader programs is able to display this information so I was in a hope that it will be possible in ReLaunch too. Maybe haron2013 will be able to fix that and then we'll have fully functional ebook library. :)

I looked at the description of the standard - there really is no such tag.
avmdv rights - it is necessary to wait until there is a new standard for
EPUB.
You can try to figure out where to store the name of the creators of the
book series. But I need a book in which the registered series.

Hi haron2013,

Just checked it in opf and it looks like Calibre specific tagging:

meta content="1.0" name="calibre:series_index" /
meta content="Norweski dziennik" name="calibre:series" /

so now I'm not sure you will be able to do something with it. Nevertheless if you can, then please do it, as Calibre is one of the most popular ebook managers. I can't attach any files but I'll try to sent private message with my email to you (if it's possible to do it here on GitHub).

P.S. Don't even know how to post code here so removed parentheses ( < and >) from above example.

avmdv добавишь костыль для поддержки этих тэгов в библиотеку?

ghost commented Nov 6, 2013

If we are going to consider that, we should also look around to see if there are any other common forms, and see if any of them are not vendor or product specific.

For example, Barnes & Noble, Kindle, Kobo, and Overdrive are all very popular and may all have something similar, but their books are DRM encrypted so normally no other software could see their metadata, so no advantage to adopting them as a standard.

Calibre specific metadata is visible to all, but calibre is still one procduct.

But what about Gutenberg?
Or any other non-drm epubs like Baen Free Library? There is a wikipedia page listing many sources of free ebooks. When I get a chance I'll look through those and see if I can find a more agnostic standard for metadata like that. Though, if there were, one would think Calibre would already be using it instead of making their own.

To be honest I've just found solution to my problem. Calibre is able to merge series, series_index and title tags into title, so now I see all needed information as title. It's a workaround but works for me. Of course it will be better if ReLaunch will support those tags, but it's not an absolute necessity.

ZeroHaos - http://zerolab.net/2012/12/17/zerolab-nooter/
