Tech Specs v2.3.0 release
We are excited to announce the release of version 2.3.0 of the PACT Technical Specifications. This version is the last 2.x version before 3.0 and contains all revisions since 2.2.0 in April 2024.
Starting v2.3 an OpenAPI schema will be maintained alongside the specifications.
What's New in Version 2.3.0?
- Sunsetting the Pathfinder name, replacing it with PACT
- Inclusion of an events UML diagram
- Extend Cross Sectoral Standards list to be more comprehensive and extensible
- Common URN syntax for identifying products
- URN Syntax for product classifications, replace productCategoryCpc with productClassifications

How It Affects You
If you're using version 2.0.0, 2.1.0, 2.2.0 everything will still work smoothly with version 2.3.0 since it is backwards compatible.

We are excited to announce the official release of version 2.2.0 of the PACT Technical Specifications. Thanks to the hard work of the PACT community, these revisions reflect feedback which has reached consensus since the release of v2.1.0 in December 2023.
