In 9.0, we have atomic slot migration which doesn't have this problem. In #2755 we will add atomic slot migration support to We still support the legacy slot migration though and we can regard this a bugfix that we can backport to all minor versions since 8.0. @murphyjacob4 WDYT? |

To address issue #998, this change adds a check before slot migration to ensure that all replicas have completed their full sync.
