Welcome to the IC4F Project wiki!
IC4f stands for Irc Crypto 4 Fun, its goal is to provide a simple-to-use yet "secure-enough" encryption layer on top of an up-to-date initial supported IRC client (weechat).
While it is far from perfect, it increases the level of privacy and raise the bar to sniff your traffic passively, active attackers will still have the upper hands as an evil MITM IRC server.
