v2.0.0 Release Notes

  • Enhanced Update Blocking:

    • The wuaueng.dll file is now renamed to ensure that the Windows Update service cannot be started, providing a more robust solution for disabling automatic updates.

  • Manual Update Process:

    • The manual update.bat script has been removed. Users are now encouraged to temporarily re-enable updates when needed for manual updates.

  • New Script for Dependent Software:

    • Added use update service.bat. This script allows users to temporarily enable the Windows Update service to run software that depends on it.
