P2PP is a Prusa Slicer Post processing script that has been originally developed for the Palette 2 to offer seamless integration into the Prusa Slicer Gcode generation workflow, hens the maybe somewhat weid name P2PP - P(alette)2 P(ost)P(rocessor). P2PP is installed on the same PC where PS is running as a separate program that Prusa Slicer will all at the very end of its processing cycle during the gcode export.
BEFORE YOU START:
p2pp is an independently developed post processing script designed to allow Palette+/2(S)(Pro)/P3(pro) users the ability to use Prusaslicer's advanced features natively directly from Prusaslicer. We test features before releasing but please understand you use this script at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damage caused.
Just download the new version and unzip it over the version you want to upgrade. No further action is needed.
You will have to perform a download and installation as per new installation instructions. There is no need to go through the full configuration again, you sill only need perform the steps in the chapter on "script configuration in PrusaSlicer"
Thought the idea is to create a seamless experience the installation requires a fair bit of attention. These pages are here to help you move towards a successful installation. Remember that P2PP is community effort. Keep that in mind when reaching out for help and in turn, when you feel you can contribute to solving other people's problems, please don't hesitate.
Starting with version 6.0.0 P2PP has undergone significant changes. The tool is now available as a windows' application ZIP file or, a macOS' DMG file. from the following location (under development/macOS of development/Windows folder) You have to download the file with the latest version onto your computer and either unzip it to the location of your choice on a Windows machine or open the DMG and move the application over to the Applications folder on macOS.
As we speak, P2PP has been tested with PS2.3. P2PP has been adapted to work with PS2.4 Beta 1 BUT keep in mind that PS2.4 is ongoing development and ongoing changes may impact P2PP compatibility. We will do out best to get these issues ironed out as quickly as possible.
Support is only offered on the latest version. If you encounter software incompatibilities, try to update to the latest version to see if your problem has been fixed in later release

The new file comes with a python version, including all required libraries in a single distribution. This should make P2PP immune for changes to the Python environment on your computer or installation of other versions of the needed libraries
