I put the functions into a different file, I realize that makes looking at a diff harder - I expect you can quickly create your own diff if you wish but shout if you want my idea on that.
I made some small changes to the functions but mostly just added documentation that will help eventually put these in the tntpr R package, for easier and more widespread use.
