Execa just implemented PR 1256 which adds a new option when the subprocess is terminated, also terminate all of its descendant processes, instead of only the subprocess itself. I'd like the option to also kill the descendants of the child process in tinyexec. This is motivated by vitest-dev/vitest#11064 - the process spawns a tsgo process that doesn't properly get cleaned up.
This could be implemented on the vitest side, but feels like a nice feature request to have here. It has caveats and is best-effort, but means applications would not need to re-implement this themselves.
