CATmistry 😺🧪

Language Xcode

GitHub contributors

GitHub issues GitHub pull requests

CATmistry was built to aid upper primary to lower secondary school students in their Chemistry learning journey. As many other Chemistry apps currently present in the market cater largely to the undergrad/professional market, we find that there is a lack of such apps tailored to the needs of the younger population. CATmistry aims to convey relatively simple Chemistry concepts in a simple and concise manner that would be the most suitable for our target age group. Alongside the learn and information sections are mini-games and interactive elements to provide for a fun and engaging learning experience.

CATmistry was built by Neo Hao Jun, Wang Zerui, Chanel Tan Qian Ai, and Ryu Hwina under the 2020 Swift Accelerators' Programme.

Installation

CATmistry is available for iOS 13, iPadOS 13, and macOS Big Sur on the App Store.

About the Swift Accelerator Programme

The Swift Accelerator Programme is an intensive talent development programme for secondary school students with an interest and aptitude for app development and computational thinking, launched by IMDA and Apple and hosted by Tinkercademy. Over 8 months, participants learn to code in Swift, and apply story-telling and design thinking principles to design, build, and release an iOS app of their own.
