I am a software engineer with experience in large scale infrastructure automation and reliability engineering. I am a bioinformatician & microbiologist by education. I combine my professional experience with my academic background to build opensource solutions for physical problems. My capstone project reef-pi is a control system built with Raspberry Pi and ancillary opensource sensors that can sense temperature, water level, humidity and control equipment based on them. reef-pi is hugely popular in the reefing community, been awarded as maker fair editor's choice, covered by Raspberry Pi with local communities of builder and hackers across US, Europe, Africa and Asia.
