Bart Busschots has been a blogger and podcaster since the late 90s and the very early days of podcasting, and has always published his work under open licenses.
As well as working alone on some projects, Bart now works closely with Allison Sheridan and the vibrant community she has built up around the NosillaCast podcast network. Under the Bartificer Creations banner Bart leads a number of projects creating educational content and open source software, most notably:
- The XKPasswd.net secure memorable password generator and its underlying open source Perl module Crypt::HSXKPasswd Perl module (and the up-coming port to an ES6 JavaScript module)
- The Taming the Terminal blog/podcast series/ebook with Allison Sheridan & Helma van der Linden.
- The on-going Programming by Stealth blog/podcast series with Allison Sheridan
- The this-ti.me time-sharing service
