Thanks for considering sponsoring me.
Most of my open source software is here on GitHub.
I wrote and maintain jsonschema
, a library for Python, as well as a number of other libraries for fully selfish reasons -- to make my own workflows easier :). Hopefully you find some of them useful.
I also sporadically contribute to a number of other open source projects, and try to mentor others to do the same. I did this more in the past, and wish I'd do it more now too. If you're new to the world of open source and trying to get started, please feel free to reach out.
Any support is super appreciated -- for ~2 years I was sponsored to work full-time on open source software, something I am very grateful for and which I hope proved beneficial for the community (certainly the spec compliance of jsonschema
benefited from it!).
Now that that has ended, if you do find anything I've written helpful, I'd love to hear about it!
Outside of software, coffee and travel are my biggest passions, so we very well may end up in the same city at the same time if you prefer buying me a coffee in person.
A monthly salary similar to what I make at my day job is unfortunately unrealistic, certainly anytime soon. But $500 a month would be a first step towards justifying setting aside a few additional hours specifically towards open source. I do so today certainly, out of a love of doing it. But some day I'd love to reduce the number of hours I work for a business and increase the ones I work benefiting the community. Thanks for considering it!

My direct attention for a specific issue raised on the issue tracker.
I of course try to look at everything eventually no matter what, but if you have an issue you'd like immediate eyes on, you can certainly help get it eyes with this tier.
