Static APIs

The documentation script can create Static APIs, that is, collections of static files which mimic the behavior of certain well-known API definitions.

These static APIs do not necessarily provide the full functionality of a given API definition, but they may serve essential functions provided by the fully-stacked API.

This script can provide static API versions of the following common APIs:

  • CKAN API
  • OGC API Features
  • IIIF API

The limitations of these API definitions are explained in their respective Wiki pages.
