MetalDiffusion is a python script for creating images through the use of artificial narrow intelligence. It's goal is to be a reliable and stable implementation of Stable Diffusion for Mac OS users, both Silicon and Intel based.
This wiki will explain how to use the program and be a reference to how it works for future development.
MetalDiffusion was originally a fork developed by AJ Young from Divum Gupta's work creating a TensorFlow version of Stable Diffusion.

MetalDiffusion respects the copyright autonomy of artists. This means MetalDiffusion will not automatically download any weights for diffusion models, like Stable Diffusion. It is up to the user to determine which weights they can use with MetalDiffusion that do not violate copyright.
MetalDiffusion will always be a Free and Open Source Software, in keeping with the spirit of GIMP, Blender, and so many other FOSS that artists can use.
