The release contains web installers for Windows and Mac. Web installers are small tools that download up-to-date binaries from the update channel to your computer. Once installed LogJoint checks for new updates automatically (only when LogJoint is running; no additional Windows services are installed). In order to check manually that you're up-to-date use "Check now" button in the LogJoint's about dialog.
