Introduction

This web application aims to simplify the process of creating eBay listings by leveraging data from CSV/XLS files. Installation & Setup

  1. Install Node.js and npm: https://nodejs.org/

  2. Install Python: https://www.python.org/

  3. Install Dependencies:

    cd frontend
    npm install
    cd ../backend
    pip install -r requirements.txt
    cd ../server
    npm install
  4. Start the Servers:

    cd frontend
    npm start
    cd ../server
    npm start
    cd ../backend
    flask run

Usage

  1. Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 (frontend).
  2. Upload a CSV/XLS file.
  3. View the data in the listing preview.
  4. Edit the HTML/CSS/JS code of the listing.
  5. Generate the complete HTML code of the listing.

Features

  • CSV/XLS Upload: Import CSV/XLS files containing listing information.
  • Data Parsing: Extract data from files and convert it to a structured format.
  • Listing Preview: Display a real-time preview of the listing based on the data.
  • Code Editing: Allows users to customize the HTML/CSS/JS code of the listing.
  • HTML Code Generation: Generate the complete HTML code for the listing to be used on eBay.

Advanced Features (Planned)

  • Integration with eBay API: Automate the process of publishing listings directly to eBay.
  • Image Uploading: Allow users to upload product images directly to the application.

  • User Authentication: Secure user accounts and store listing data for future use.

Development Notes
