To clarify no observable impact are expected for distribution packagers, as this was reported to be confusing in #general > FYI: Bootstrap sequence redesign @ 💬.

Changes:

  • Added a revision entry.
  • Duplicated example on what a Rust toolchain can be built with (prior stable, prior stable point releases, same stable) in TL;DR section to make it more prominent.
  • Added a FAQ entry to explicitly spell out that no observable changes should be experienced by distribution packagers.
