My opinion would be to actually better switch that into this approach. It sounds like having less side effects. But since all that is temporary, we can just leave them as is till we do it for both in the proper way. For now, since it has been approved, I'm going ahead to merge it because we have been too long without a working dev image. People are noticing problems on our support channel already :D. |

To get things unstuck, I am pushing it now to get things going. Nevertheless, there is the #475 under review that uses
venv, addressing the problem in a better way. But I think this might take some time.
