First of all: Thank you for the effort you put into this book. I'm currently reading and enjoying it.

Some notebook cells do not work under
numpy > 2.0.0
andmatplotlib > 3.7.0
.I have fixed the direct dependencies to versions that I have now checked are working on Python 3.11.9 and the notebooks on
master
. This way we could get some more years of life out of this awesome book.I know that most people reading the book should be able to fix the issues themselves, but keeping everyone from having to painstakingly go through many versions of dependencies might be worth the effort here.
