This changeset updates the test environment to avoid deprecated runner images and actions. The macOS job now runs on macOS 26 as macOS 14 will be removed on November 2, 2026 as per actions/runner-images#13518, and legacy HHVM now runs on Ubuntu 24.04 as Ubuntu 22.04 is being deprecated as per actions/runner-images#14254. Updating
actions/checkoutalso avoids the Node.js 20 deprecation warnings.On top of this, one test now expects
ECONNRESETinstead ofEPROTOTYPEon macOS when the server closes the connection during a write, as reported by the macOS kernel since macOS 12 as per https://github.com/apple-oss-distributions/xnu/blob/xnu-8019.41.5/bsd/netinet/tcp_usrreq.c#L1093. This only affects the test suite on macOS, so it is safe to apply and has no runtime changes.Builds on top of #243, #239, #172 and reactphp/stream#190
