Thanks to Sebastian (https://github.com/ChillAndImprove) and HardPenguin (https://github.com/hardpenguin) for opening an issue for this feature 👍 we now support regular images (jpg, png, etc.) as external background images.

The README has been updated to show how this works. TL;DR get version 1.1, and then set-mode external <path to file>.

The docker image has also been updated, if you've been using the cam script as a wrapper around the docker version. You might wish to update it, with the new 1.1 version, and a mount to a folder containing your background images.
